Lille \u00dcniversitesi\u2019nde Alman ve \u00c7ek filolojisi \u00fczerine e\u011fitim ald\u0131; sonras\u0131nda Peter Lang dan\u0131\u015fmanl\u0131\u011f\u0131nda 1974 y\u0131l\u0131nda Aix- Marseille \u00dcniversitesi\u2019nde Kafka \u00fczerine doktora yapt\u0131. 1967\u2019de T\u00fcrkiye\u2019ye gelen Durusoy, 1972- 1988 y\u0131llar\u0131 aras\u0131nda Hacettepe ve Ankara \u00fcniversitelerinde, daha sonra \u0130zmir\u2019de Germanistik b\u00f6l\u00fcmlerinde hocal\u0131k yapt\u0131.
