Serginin a\u00e7\u0131l\u0131\u015f\u0131nda konu\u015fan Rekt\u00f6r Budak, \u201cDo\u011fan\u0131n sessiz ve b\u00fcy\u00fcleyici dengesi i\u00e7erisinde bitkiler, i\u00e7indeki ya\u015fam enerjisini ve ruhunu bizlere renkleri ve b\u00fcy\u00fcleyiciyi g\u00f6r\u00fcnt\u00fcleri ile yans\u0131t\u0131yor. Bug\u00fcn bu sergide do\u011fan\u0131n i\u00e7indeki polenlerin b\u00fcy\u00fcleyici g\u00f6r\u00fcnt\u00fclerinin yans\u0131malar\u0131n\u0131 g\u00f6r\u00fcyoruz. Sergi hakk\u0131nda bilgi veren Prof. Dr. Aykut G\u00fcvensen, \u201cPolenlerin B\u00fcy\u00fcleyici G\u00f6r\u00fcnt\u00fcleri sergisinde, bitkiler d\u00fcnyas\u0131nda tozla\u015fmada rol oynayan ve yakla\u015f\u0131k 40 bitki t\u00fcr\u00fcne ait polenlerin Taramal\u0131 Elektron Mikroskobik (SEM) g\u00f6r\u00fcnt\u00fclerine ait renklendirilmi\u015f polen foto\u011fraflar\u0131 sunulmu\u015ftur. \u00d6zellikle mikroskobik \u00e7ekimlerde polenlerdeki ekzin s\u00fcs elemanlar\u0131 yani ornemantasyonlar\u0131n\u0131n yan\u0131nda, polen \u00e7imlenmesinde \u00e7ok b\u00fcy\u00fck rol oynayan ekzinin ince kalm\u0131\u015f alanlar\u0131 kolpus ve porus a\u00e7\u0131kl\u0131klar\u0131 \u00f6n plana \u00e7\u0131kar\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Bilimsel ara\u015ft\u0131rmalarda, \u00f6zellikle yeni bir bitki t\u00fcr\u00fcn\u00fc bilim d\u00fcnyas\u0131na tan\u0131t\u0131rken yada bitki sistemati\u011finde revizyon \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131nda polenlerin SEM g\u00f6r\u00fcnt\u00fcleriyle morfolojik \u00f6zelliklerinin ayr\u0131nt\u0131l\u0131 olarak ortaya konmas\u0131 b\u00fcy\u00fck \u00f6nem ta\u015f\u0131maktad\u0131r\u201d diye konu\u015ftu.<\/p>\n

Polenlerin g\u00f6revlerinin tozla\u015fmay\u0131 sa\u011flamak oldu\u011funu ifade eden Prof. Dr. G\u00fcvensen, \u201cPolenler, \u00e7i\u00e7ekli bitki stamenlerinin anterlerinde bulunan polen keselerinde olu\u015furlar ve polen taneleri, bitkilerin erkek \u00fcreme materyalini \u00e7i\u00e7e\u011fin di\u015fi organ\u0131na ta\u015f\u0131ma da g\u00f6rev alan yap\u0131lard\u0131r. Polenlerin ta\u015f\u0131n\u0131mlar\u0131 ise daha \u00e7ok r\u00fczg\u00e2r, su, b\u00f6cek veya hayvanlar ger\u00e7ekle\u015fmektedir. G\u00f6revleri tozla\u015fmay\u0131 sa\u011flamak olan polenler; insanlar, ar\u0131lar ve baz\u0131 b\u00f6ceklerin besin kaynaklar\u0131n\u0131 da olu\u015fturmaktad\u0131rlar.
