Ege \u00dcniversitesi Sa\u011fl\u0131k Bilimleri Enstit\u00fcs\u00fc \u00f6\u011fretim \u00fcyesi Prof. Dr. Ralph Leo Johan Meuwissen\u2019in y\u00fcr\u00fct\u00fcc\u00fcl\u00fc\u011f\u00fcn\u00fc yapt\u0131\u011f\u0131,\u00a0akci\u011fer kanseri tedavisine y\u00f6nelik etkin ve ki\u015fiselle\u015ftirilmi\u015f yakla\u015f\u0131mlar geli\u015ftirmeyi hedefleyen proje T\u00dcB\u0130TAK 1001 Program\u0131 kapsam\u0131nda desteklenmeye hak kazand\u0131.<\/p>\n

Proje ile ilgili bilgi veren Prof. Dr. Ralph Leo Johan Meuwissen, \u201cAkci\u011fer kanseri, \u00f6zellikle k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck h\u00fccreli olmayan akci\u011fer kanseri (NSCLC), d\u00fcnya \u00e7ap\u0131nda en yayg\u0131n ve \u00f6l\u00fcmc\u00fcl malignitelerden biridir ve akci\u011fer kanseri vakalar\u0131n\u0131n \u00e7o\u011funlu\u011funu olu\u015fturur. NSCLC tedavisindeki en b\u00fcy\u00fck zorluk, epitel-mezenkimal ge\u00e7i\u015f (EMT) gibi fakt\u00f6rler taraf\u0131ndan y\u00f6nlendirilen t\u00fcm\u00f6r\u00fcn heterojenli\u011fidir. EMT, t\u00fcm\u00f6r\u00fcn metastatik potansiyelini ve geleneksel tedavilere direncini art\u0131ran dinamik bir s\u00fcre\u00e7tir. Bu proje, epitel, hibrit epitel\/mezenkimal ve tamamen mezenkimal t\u00fcm\u00f6r alt pop\u00fclasyonlar\u0131na \u00f6zg\u00fc neo-peptit profillerine odaklanarak NSCLC i\u00e7in yeni, ki\u015fiselle\u015ftirilmi\u015f dendritik h\u00fccre (DC) tabanl\u0131 bir neoantijen a\u015f\u0131s\u0131 geli\u015ftirmeyi ama\u00e7lamaktad\u0131r. T\u00fcm\u00f6r heterojenli\u011finin karma\u015f\u0131kl\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 ele alarak, bu yakla\u015f\u0131m kanser imm\u00fcnoterapisinde umut verici yeni bir yol sunmaktad\u0131r. Bu projenin \u00f6zg\u00fcnl\u00fc\u011f\u00fc, EMT kaynakl\u0131 t\u00fcm\u00f6r heterojenli\u011fini neo-peptit a\u015f\u0131 tasar\u0131m\u0131na entegre etmesinde yatmaktad\u0131r. T\u00fcm\u00f6r\u00fcn \u00e7e\u015fitli h\u00fccresel alt pop\u00fclasyonlar\u0131 nedeniyle s\u0131kl\u0131kla ba\u015far\u0131s\u0131z olan mevcut imm\u00fcnoterapilerin aksine, bu strateji EMT spektrumunun her faz\u0131yla ili\u015fkili farkl\u0131 neoantijen profillerini hedef al\u0131r. Bu projenin NSCLC tedavisi \u00fczerindeki potansiyel etkisi derin olabilir.
