Ege \u00dcniversitesi \u0130n\u015faat M\u00fchendisli\u011fi B\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fc \u00d6\u011fretim \u00dcyesi Prof. Dr. Selim Altun\u2019nun y\u00fcr\u00fct\u00fcc\u00fcl\u00fc\u011f\u00fcn\u00fc yapt\u0131\u011f\u0131, \u201c\u0130zmir K\u00f6rfezi K\u0131y\u0131lar\u0131nda Paleos\u0131v\u0131la\u015fma \u0130zlerinin \u00c7ok Disiplinli Karakterizasyonu\u201d adl\u0131 proje T\u00dcB\u0130TAK-ARDEB 1001 Bilimsel ve Teknolojik Ara\u015ft\u0131rma Projeleri Destekleme Program\u0131 kapsam\u0131nda desteklenmeye hak kazand\u0131. Proje, \u0130zmir K\u00f6rfezi k\u0131y\u0131lar\u0131nda ge\u00e7mi\u015fte meydana gelen depremlerin zemin \u00fczerindeki etkilerini modern teknolojilerle analiz ederek, gelecekteki olas\u0131 risklere dair kritik veriler sunmay\u0131 hedefliyor.<\/p>\n

\u00a0Ege \u00dcniversitesi Rekt\u00f6r\u00fc Prof. Dr. Musa Alc\u0131, yapay zek\u00e2dan ileri geoteknik y\u00f6ntemlere kadar bir\u00e7ok modern teknolojiyi bulu\u015fturan bu \u00f6nc\u00fc projeleriyle T\u00dcB\u0130TAK deste\u011fi almaya hak kazanan Prof. Dr. Selim Altun ve disiplinleraras\u0131 ekibini tebrik ederek, \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131nda ba\u015far\u0131lar diledi.<\/p>\n

Proje hakk\u0131nda bilgi veren Prof. Dr. Selim Altun, \u201cS\u0131v\u0131la\u015fma gibi ciddi zemin problemlerine yol a\u00e7abilecek deprem parametrelerinin ve bunlar\u0131n tekrarlanma periyotlar\u0131n\u0131n belirlenmesinde, mevcut tarihsel ve aletsel d\u00f6nem kataloglar\u0131 kimi zaman yetersiz kalabiliyor. Bu noktada devreye giren proje, \u2018paleo-s\u0131v\u0131la\u015fma\u2019 olarak adland\u0131r\u0131lan ge\u00e7mi\u015f d\u00f6nem deprem izlerini inceleyerek bu eksikli\u011fi gidermeyi ama\u00e7l\u0131yor. T\u00fcrkiye\u2019de ilk kez farkl\u0131 disiplinlerin b\u00fct\u00fcnc\u00fcl bir bak\u0131\u015f a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131yla paleo-s\u0131v\u0131la\u015fma \u00fczerine bir arada \u00e7al\u0131\u015faca\u011f\u0131 bu projede; Holosen ve Ge\u00e7 Pleyistosen d\u00f6nemlerine ait izler saha ve ya\u015fland\u0131rma \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131yla analiz edilecek\u201d diye konu\u015ftu<\/p>\n

Prof. Dr. Selim Altun, \u201c\u0130zmir K\u00f6rfezi k\u0131y\u0131 \u015feridinde ger\u00e7ekle\u015ftirilecek \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalarda olduk\u00e7a geni\u015f bir teknolojik imkan yelpazesi kullan\u0131lacak. Literat\u00fcrde deprem kaynakl\u0131 s\u0131v\u0131la\u015fmalar\u0131n ya\u015fand\u0131\u011f\u0131 bilinen sahalarda; drone g\u00f6r\u00fcnt\u00fclerinin yapay zeka ile entegrasyonundan elde edilen haritalar, sismik y\u00f6ntemler ve sondaj verileri birle\u015ftirilecek. Ara\u015ft\u0131rma kapsam\u0131nda a\u00e7\u0131lacak \u00e7ukurlardan al\u0131nacak numuneler, C14 ve optik l\u00fcminesas (OSL) y\u00f6ntemleriyle ya\u015fland\u0131r\u0131larak ge\u00e7mi\u015fteki b\u00fcy\u00fck sars\u0131nt\u0131lar\u0131n zaman \u00e7izelgesi \u00e7\u0131kar\u0131lacak. Proje kapsam\u0131nda zemin \u00f6rneklemesinde hassas y\u00f6ntemlere ba\u015fvurulacak. Piezokoni penetrasyon deneyi (CPTu) ile s\u0131v\u0131la\u015fma derinlikleri belirlenirken, numune al\u0131m\u0131nda ise \u00f6rselenmeyi en aza indirgeyen \u2018GEL-PUSH\u2019 ve \u2018Shelby t\u00fcp(UD)\u2019 y\u00f6ntemleri kullan\u0131lacak. Elde edilen numuneler \u00fczerinde yap\u0131lacak dinamik \u00fc\u00e7 eksenli deneyler ve geriye d\u00f6n\u00fck analizler sayesinde, b\u00f6lgeyi ge\u00e7mi\u015fte etkileyen paleo-depremlerin b\u00fcy\u00fckl\u00fckleri ve pik yer ivmeleri tahmin edilebilecek\u201d diye konu\u015ftu.<\/p>\n
