Engelsiz Ege Koordinat\u00f6r\u00fc Prof. Dr. Pelin Pi\u015ftav Akme\u015fe\u2019nin kat\u0131l\u0131m\u0131yla ger\u00e7ekle\u015fen etkinli\u011fin moderat\u00f6rl\u00fc\u011f\u00fcn\u00fc, M\u00fchendislik Fak\u00fcltesi \u00f6\u011fretim \u00fcyesi ve Engelsiz Ege Koordinat\u00f6r Yard\u0131mc\u0131s\u0131 Prof. Dr. Tu\u011fba Eski\u015far Tef\u00e7i \u00fcstlendi.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">E\u00dc M\u00fchendislik Fak\u00fcltesi\u00a0 \u0130n\u015faat M\u00fchendisli\u011fi B\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fc dersliklerinde d\u00fczenlenen\u00a0etkinlikte \u0130n\u015faat M\u00fchendisli\u011fi B\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fc 3. s\u0131n\u0131f \u00f6\u011frencisi Serhan Sarp Bolsoy, akran ment\u00f6rl\u00fc\u011f\u00fc s\u00fcrecinde edindi\u011fi deneyimleri ve bu modelin engelli bireylerin sosyal ve akademik geli\u015fimine katk\u0131lar\u0131n\u0131 kat\u0131l\u0131mc\u0131larla payla\u015ft\u0131.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ege \u00dcniversitesi b\u00fcnyesinde engellilere y\u00f6nelik y\u00fcr\u00fct\u00fclen \u00a0\u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131n \u00f6neminden bahseden Prof. Dr. Pelin Pi\u015ftav Akme\u015fe, \u201cEge \u00dcniversitesi, s\u00fcrd\u00fcrd\u00fc\u011f\u00fc \u00f6nc\u00fc \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalarla engelli \u00f6\u011frencilerin e\u011fitimde ve sosyal hayatta tam eri\u015filebilirli\u011fini sa\u011fl\u0131yor. \u2018Akran Ment\u00f6rl\u00fc\u011f\u00fc\u2019 projesiyle m\u00fchendislikten fizi\u011fe, kadar pek \u00e7ok b\u00f6l\u00fcmde \u00f6\u011frenciler, engelli arkada\u015flar\u0131na rehberlik ederek, akranlar\u0131n\u0131n \u00fcniversite ya\u015fam\u0131na e\u015fit eri\u015fiminde destek sa\u011fl\u0131yor.\u00a0Birimin temel vizyonu, \u00fcniversitemize ad\u0131m atan her \u00f6\u011frencimizin, engel grubuna bak\u0131lmaks\u0131z\u0131n akranlar\u0131yla e\u015fit imk\u00e2nlara sahip olmas\u0131n\u0131 sa\u011flamakt\u0131r. \u015eunu unutmamal\u0131y\u0131z ki; engel her zaman d\u0131\u015far\u0131dan bak\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131nda fark edilemeyebilir. Bizler sadece tekerlekli sandalye kullan\u0131m\u0131 veya g\u00f6rme engeli gibi belirgin durumlar\u0131 de\u011fil; i\u015fitme kayb\u0131, disleksi, otizm spektrum bozuklu\u011fu, diyabet, l\u00f6semi ve \u00e7e\u015fitli kronik sa\u011fl\u0131k sorunlar\u0131 ya\u015fayan t\u00fcm \u00f6\u011frencilerimizi birimimizin kapsam\u0131na al\u0131yoruz. Amac\u0131m\u0131z, \u00fcniversitemizi fiziksel olarak binalar\u0131n eri\u015fiminin yan\u0131 s\u0131ra e\u011fitime ve sosyal faaliyetlere e\u015fit eri\u015fim. G\u00f6n\u00fcll\u00fc \u00f6\u011frencilerimizin deste\u011fi ve toplumsal fark\u0131ndal\u0131k projelerimizle de tamamen &#8216;engelsiz&#8217; bir kamp\u00fcs haline getirmektir\u201d dedi.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>\u201cMent\u00f6rl\u00fck g\u00f6rev de\u011fil, bir g\u00f6n\u00fcl ba\u011f\u0131d\u0131r\u201d<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Bir y\u0131ld\u0131r y\u00fcr\u00fctt\u00fc\u011f\u00fc akran ment\u00f6rl\u00fc\u011f\u00fc s\u00fcrecini kat\u0131l\u0131mc\u0131larla payla\u015fan Serhan Sarp Bolsoy, \u201cBenim i\u00e7in ment\u00f6rl\u00fck sadece bir g\u00f6rev de\u011fil, asl\u0131nda bir g\u00f6n\u00fcl ba\u011f\u0131 kurmakt\u0131r. Mentim ile bir y\u0131l\u0131 geride b\u0131rakt\u0131k. Kendisi Asperger sendromlu ve d\u00f6rt basamakl\u0131 say\u0131lar\u0131 zihninden saniyeler i\u00e7inde \u00e7arpabilecek kadar \u00fcst\u00fcn bir zek\u00e2ya sahip; ancak sosyal hayatta yaln\u0131zl\u0131k \u00e7ekiyordu. Bu s\u00fcre\u00e7te ben sadece ona rehberlik etmedim, ayn\u0131 zamanda hayat\u0131n farkl\u0131 renklerini ondan \u00f6\u011frendim. Bir y\u0131l\u0131n sonunda kaydetti\u011fimiz geli\u015fmeler beni \u00e7ok mutlu ediyor; art\u0131k sosyalle\u015fmeye \u00e7ok daha istekli.\u00a0Bu s\u00fcre\u00e7te empati kurmak, sab\u0131rl\u0131 olmak, haz\u0131rl\u0131kl\u0131 gelmek ve asla yarg\u0131lamamak i\u015fin temelini olu\u015fturuyor. Ancak en \u00f6nemli husus, ku\u015fkusuz empati kurabilmektir. Mentilerimizi anlamak i\u00e7in onlar\u0131n d\u00fcnyas\u0131na kap\u0131 aralamal\u0131y\u0131z\u201d diye konu\u015ftu.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Etkinli\u011fin sonunda ment\u00f6r
