T\u00dcB\u0130TAK 2221 \u201cKonuk Bilim \u0130nsan\u0131 Destekleme Program\u0131\u201d kapsam\u0131nda E\u00dc\u2019ye gelen, o\u015finografi ve radyokimya alan\u0131nda uluslararas\u0131 d\u00fczeyde tan\u0131nan Do\u011fu \u00c7in Normal \u00dcniversitesi \u00f6\u011fretim \u00fcyesi Prof. Dr. Jinzhou Du, bir ay s\u00fcreyle N\u00fckleer Bilimler Enstit\u00fcs\u00fcnde akademik faaliyetlerde bulundu. \u00c7al\u0131\u015fmalar, Enstit\u00fc \u00f6\u011fretim \u00fcyesi Prof. Dr. Aysun U\u011fur G\u00f6rg\u00fcn\u2019\u00fcn katk\u0131lar\u0131yla y\u00fcr\u00fct\u00fcld\u00fc.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Konuk bilim insan\u0131 Prof. Dr. Jinzhou Du ile tan\u0131\u015fma s\u00fcrecini aktaran Prof. Dr. Aysun U\u011fur G\u00f6rg\u00fcn, \u201cHocam\u0131zla ilk olarak ge\u00e7ti\u011fimiz y\u0131l \u00c7in\u2019de d\u00fczenlenen uluslararas\u0131 bir \u00e7al\u0131\u015ftayda tan\u0131\u015ft\u0131m. Konunun \u00f6nemi ve hocam\u0131z\u0131n yetkinli\u011fi do\u011frultusunda kendisini \u00fcniversitemize davet ettim. Burada hem \u00f6\u011frencilerimizle bilgi payla\u015f\u0131m\u0131nda bulundu hem de mavi karbon \u00fczerine d\u00fczenledi\u011fimiz \u00e7al\u0131\u015ftay da yer ald\u0131. Prof. Dr. Jinzhou Du \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131n\u0131 tamamen mavi karbon \u00fczerine yo\u011funla\u015ft\u0131rm\u0131\u015f bir bilim insan\u0131. \u00d6zge\u00e7mi\u015fi son derece g\u00fc\u00e7l\u00fc; \u00f6rne\u011fin 2014 y\u0131l\u0131nda \u015eanghay\u2019da Do\u011fa Bilimleri \u00d6d\u00fcl\u00fcn\u00fc alm\u0131\u015f bir isim. Bu alanda i\u015f birli\u011fi i\u00e7inde ilerlemeyi planl\u0131yoruz\u201d dedi.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>\u201cMavi karbonun iklim \u00fczerindeki etkisini ortaya koyuyoruz\u201d<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mavi karbonun iklim de\u011fi\u015fikli\u011fiyle m\u00fccadeledeki rol\u00fcne dikkat \u00e7eken Prof. Dr. G\u00f6rg\u00fcn, \u201cDeniz \u00e7ay\u0131rlar\u0131, tuzlu batakl\u0131klar gibi ekosistemlerde tutulan karbon, uzun y\u0131llar boyunca stabil kalabiliyor. Biz de bu alanlardan sediment karot \u00f6rnekleri alarak, her bir santimetrede kur\u015fun izotoplar\u0131n\u0131 tayin ediyoruz. Bu sayede sedimentlerin ya\u015f\u0131n\u0131 belirliyor, ayn\u0131 \u00f6rneklerde yapt\u0131\u011f\u0131m\u0131z karbon \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fcmleriyle tarihsel karbon birikimini de\u011ferlendiriyoruz. B\u00f6ylece n\u00fckleer tekniklerle mavi karbonun iklim \u00fczerindeki etkisini bilimsel olarak ortaya koyuyoruz. Bu alandaki \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131m\u0131z sadece bu \u00e7al\u0131\u015ftayla s\u0131n\u0131rl\u0131 de\u011fil; ayn\u0131 zamanda Uluslararas\u0131 Atom Enerjisi Ajans\u0131 destekli bir teknik i\u015f birli\u011fi projesinin T\u00fcrkiye sorumlusuyum. Oysa deniz \u00e7ay\u0131rlar\u0131, mangrovlar ve tuzlu batakl\u0131klar, okyanus alanlar\u0131n\u0131n yaln\u0131zca y\u00fczde 0,2\u2019sini olu\u015ftursa da, k\u00fcresel tortul karbonun yakla\u015f\u0131k y\u00fczde 50\u2019sini depoluyor. Bu alanlar\u0131n korunmas\u0131 ve restorasyonu, sadece karbonun tutulmas\u0131 a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131ndan de\u011fil, s\u00fcrd\u00fcr\u00fclebilir y\u00f6netim politikalar\u0131n\u0131n olu\u015fturulmas\u0131na katk\u0131 sa\u011flayacak kan\u0131ta dayal\u0131 veriler a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131ndan da kritik. N\u00fckleer tekniklerle karbonun \u00e7evresel d\u00f6ng\u00fcs\u00fcn\u00fc izlemek, \u00f6rne\u011fin karbonun yeralt\u0131 sular\u0131yla denizlere ta\u015f\u0131n\u0131m\u0131n\u0131 analiz etmek de bu s\u00fcrecin bir par\u00e7as\u0131. Bu kapsamda y\u00fcr\u00fct\u00fclen her bilimsel \u00e7al\u0131\u015fma, hem iklim de\u011fi\u015fikli\u011fiyle m\u00fccadele hem de gelecek ku\u015faklar i\u00e7in yap\u0131lacak en b\u00fcy\u00fck yat\u0131r\u0131m anlam\u0131na geliyor\u201d dedi.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201c<b>S\u00fcrd\u00fcr\u00fclebilir bir gelecek i\u00e7in Mavi Karbon\u201d<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Prof. Dr. Jinzhou Du ise \u00a0\u201cK\u0131y\u0131sal mavi karbon ekosistemleri, yani mangrovlar, tuzlu batakl\u0131klar ve deniz \u00e7ay\u0131rlar\u0131, iklim de\u011fi\u015fikli\u011fiyle m\u00fccadelede son derece kritik sistemlerdir. Bu ekosistemler, fotosentez yoluyla karbondioksiti organik maddeye d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcrerek b\u00fcy\u00fck miktarda karbonu uzun s\u00fcreli olarak depolayabiliyor. \u00d6zellikle sulak alanlardaki karbon tutma oranlar\u0131, karasal ve a\u00e7\u0131k deniz ekosistemlerine k\u0131yasla \u00e7ok daha y\u00fcksek. Ayr\u0131ca, gelgitlerle ta\u015f\u0131nan inorganik karbonun miktar\u0131 g\u00f6z \u00f6n\u00fcne al\u0131nd\u0131\u011f\u0131nda, bu alanlar\u0131n ger\u00e7ek karbon tutma kapasitesi geleneksel tahminlerin \u00e7ok \u00f6tesindedir. Mavi karbon sadece karbon y\u00f6netimi a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131ndan de\u011fil; biyolojik \u00e7e\u015fitlili\u011fin korunmas\u0131, su kalitesinin art\u0131r\u0131lmas\u0131 ve k\u0131y\u0131 erozyonunun \u00f6nlenmesi gibi pek \u00e7ok ekosistem hizmetiyle de son derece de\u011ferlidir. Bu y\u00fczden bu ekosistemleri korumak ve restore etmek, s\u00fcrd\u00fcr\u00fclebilir bir gelecek i\u00e7in yap\u0131lacak en \u00f6nemli yat\u0131r\u0131mlardan biridir\u201d dedi.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ziyaret kapsam\u0131nda \u201cMavi Karbon Ekosistemlerinde Radyon\u00fcklidlerin Kullan\u0131m\u0131\u201d ba\u015fl\u0131kl\u0131 bir \u00e7al\u0131\u015ftay d\u00fczenlendi.
