Ege \u00dcniversitesi i\u00e7erisinde bulunan Botanik Bah\u00e7esi\u00a0 Herbaryum Ara\u015ft\u0131rma ve Uygulama Merkezi Ara\u015ft\u0131r\u0131c\u0131lar\u0131 taraf\u0131ndan son 15 y\u0131lda 80 endemik bitki t\u00fcr\u00fc bilim d\u00fcnyas\u0131na tan\u0131t\u0131ld\u0131. D\u00fcnyadaki bitki \u00e7e\u015fitlili\u011fini tan\u0131mak, tan\u0131tmak, ara\u015ft\u0131rma ve \u00f6\u011fretim hizmetlerine katk\u0131da bulunmak amac\u0131yla E\u00dc kamp\u00fcs\u00fcnde 16 bin 750 metre karelik bir alan \u00fczerinde kurulan Botanik Bah\u00e7esi, hem T\u00fcrkiye hem de yabanc\u0131 orjinli bitki t\u00fcrlerini bar\u0131nd\u0131r\u0131yor.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cLikya Orkidesi\u2019nin tohumundan doku k\u00fclt\u00fcr\u00fc Laboratuvar\u0131m\u0131zda \u00fcretmeyi ba\u015fard\u0131k\u201d<\/b><\/p>\n Botanik Bah\u00e7esinde nesli t\u00fckenmekte olan bitkilerle ilgili \u00f6zel \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar yap\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131ndan bahseden Prof. Dr. Y\u0131ld\u0131r\u0131m, \u201cBuras\u0131 deniz seviyesinde oldu\u011fu i\u00e7in genelde y\u00fcksek da\u011f ko\u015fullar\u0131nda yay\u0131l\u0131\u015f g\u00f6steren endemik bitkileri yeti\u015ftirme olduk\u00e7a problemli olmaktad\u0131r. Daha y\u00fcksek da\u011f ko\u015fullar\u0131nda ya\u015fayan bitkileri deniz seviyesine indirmek ve o ortamda yeti\u015ftirmek \u00e7ok zorlay\u0131c\u0131 bir durum. \u00c7\u00fcnk\u00fc hassas bir ekolojiye ve ya\u015fam ko\u015fullar\u0131na sahipler. Nadir bitkilere y\u00f6nelik koruma \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131 yap\u0131yor, \u00f6zellikle orkideler \u00fczerinde duruyoruz. \u015eu an doktora tezini ger\u00e7ekle\u015ftiren \u00f6\u011frencim Nejdet Bozkurt\u2019un \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131 sonucunda, nesli t\u00fckenmeye y\u00fcz tutmu\u015f Likya Orkidesi\u2019nin tohumundan \u00fcretmeyi ba\u015farm\u0131\u015f durumday\u0131z. Yak\u0131n zamanda \u00fcretilen bu yeni bitkicikler tekrardan kendi do\u011fal ortamlar\u0131na aktar\u0131larak Likya Orkidesinin pop\u00fclasyonlar\u0131n\u0131 g\u00fc\u00e7lendirerek neslinin devam\u0131 i\u00e7in \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131m\u0131za devam etmeyi d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fcyoruz. Buras\u0131 \u015fehrin ortas\u0131nda kalm\u0131\u015f ye\u015fil bir mimari ve karbon ayak izini en aza indirgeyebilecek bir yer. Bu ba\u011flamda Ege \u00dcniversitesi i\u00e7inde olduk\u00e7a \u00f6nemli bir noktaday\u0131z. Projelerimizle bizler de bu konular\u0131 destekliyoruz. Gelen ziyaret\u00e7iler taraf\u0131ndan sera i\u00e7erisindeki Tropikal k\u00f6kenli bitkiler daha \u00e7ok ilgi g\u00f6r\u00fcyor. Tropikal seram\u0131zda muzlardan kahve a\u011fac\u0131na kadar bir\u00e7ok bitkiyi g\u00f6rme \u015fans\u0131na sahipsiniz. Botanik Bah\u00e7esi Herbaryum Ara\u015ft\u0131rma ve Uygulama Merkezi M\u00fcd\u00fcr\u00fc Prof. Dr. Hasan Y\u0131ld\u0131r\u0131m, \u201cT\u00fcrkiye\u2019deki devlet kurumlar\u0131 aras\u0131ndaki en eski botanik bah\u00e7elerinden biriyiz. Buras\u0131 halka a\u00e7\u0131k bir alan ve farkl\u0131 ya\u015f gruplar\u0131ndaki \u00f6\u011frencilere bir saatlik e\u011fitim tarz\u0131nda gezi, bitki tan\u0131t\u0131m\u0131 \u015feklinde turlar d\u00fczenliyoruz. Merkezimiz hem topluma y\u00f6nelik hem de bilimsel \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalara hizmet i\u00e7in kurulmu\u015ftur. Botanik Bah\u00e7esi b\u00fcnyesinde \u00fc\u00e7 tane T\u00dcB\u0130TAK projemiz aktif \u015fekilde devam etmektedir. T\u00fcrkiye genelinde ara\u015ft\u0131rma hedefli taksonomik \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar ger\u00e7ekle\u015ftirmekteyiz. Yakla\u015f\u0131k son on be\u015f y\u0131l i\u00e7erisinde Botanik Bah\u00e7esi b\u00fcnyesinde 80\u2019e a\u015fk\u0131n t\u00fcr\u00fc bilim d\u00fcnyas\u0131na tan\u0131tt\u0131k. Bu anlamda bilime katk\u0131 sa\u011flayan T\u00fcrkiye\u2019nin \u00f6nde gelen kurulu\u015flar\u0131ndan biriyiz diyebiliriz. Bununla birlikte Tar\u0131m ve Orman Bakanl\u0131\u011f\u0131 b\u00fcnyesinde ger\u00e7ekle\u015ftirilen 10\u2019a yak\u0131n projede i\u015f birli\u011fimiz devam etmekte olup akademik olarak da olduk\u00e7a aktif bir merkez oldu\u011fumuzu s\u00f6ylemek m\u00fcmk\u00fcn\u201d diye konu\u015ftu.<\/p>\n
