Dr. Aysun Ek\u015fio\u011flu\u2019nu makam\u0131nda a\u011f\u0131rlayan Ege \u00dcniversitesi Rekt\u00f6r\u00fc Prof. Dr. Necdet Budak, \u201cB\u00fcnyesinde yer alan k\u00f6kl\u00fc ve nitelikli sa\u011fl\u0131k birimleri ile birey ve toplum sa\u011fl\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 korumay\u0131 ve geli\u015ftirmeyi hedefleyen tam akredite ara\u015ft\u0131rma \u00fcniversitemiz, topluma hizmet misyonu kapsam\u0131nda anne ve \u00e7ocuk sa\u011fl\u0131\u011f\u0131na y\u00f6nelik \u00f6nemli projelere \u00f6nc\u00fcl\u00fck ediyor. Annenin emzirme s\u00fcrecinde ihtiya\u00e7 duydu\u011fu \u00f6zg\u00fcven ve bilgi deste\u011fini sa\u011flamak i\u00e7in hocalar\u0131m\u0131z\u0131n geli\u015ftirdikleri proje T\u00dcB\u0130TAK taraf\u0131ndan desteklenmeye uygun bulundu. Anne-bebek ba\u011f\u0131n\u0131n geli\u015ftirilmesi ve g\u00fc\u00e7lendirilmesi i\u00e7in son derece \u00f6nemli olan emzirme e\u011fitimi konusunda \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar y\u00fcr\u00fcten Do\u00e7. Dr. Aysun Ek\u015fio\u011flu, \u201cBu proje, do\u011fum sonras\u0131 d\u00f6nemde emzirme s\u00fcresini uzatmak ve annelerin emzirme \u00f6z yeterliliklerini art\u0131rmak i\u00e7in hastane temelli bir uygulama geli\u015ftirmeyi ama\u00e7lamaktad\u0131r. Ara\u015ft\u0131rman\u0131n bebek dostu hastane uygulamalar\u0131n\u0131n onuncu ad\u0131m\u0131n\u0131 tamamlayan bir m\u00fcdahaleyi kapsamaktad\u0131r.\u00a0 \u00c7al\u0131\u015fman\u0131n temel yenili\u011fi, do\u011fum sonras\u0131 ba\u015far\u0131l\u0131 emzirme deneyimi olan anneler ile emzirme konusunda deneyimi olmayan anneleri ayn\u0131 odada bir araya getirerek, aralar\u0131nda akran etkile\u015fimini sa\u011flamakt\u0131r. Bu yakla\u015f\u0131m, annenin emzirme s\u00fcrecinde ihtiya\u00e7 duydu\u011fu \u00f6zg\u00fcven ve bilgi deste\u011fini sa\u011flamak i\u00e7in ideal bir yakla\u015f\u0131m olarak de\u011ferlendirilmektedir.
