Prof. Dr. Yu\u015fan, \u201cRadyasyonun temel olarak, fizik, kimya, biyoloji, t\u0131p, eczac\u0131l\u0131k, tar\u0131m ve di\u011fer bilimsel alanlarda ara\u015ft\u0131rma yapmak i\u00e7in \u00f6nemli bir ara\u00e7lardan biridir ve gelecekte bu bilimsel alanlar\u0131n daha da geni\u015fleyece\u011fi ka\u00e7\u0131n\u0131lmazd\u0131r. Elektromanyetik radyasyon, elektromanyetik alanlar arac\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131yla yay\u0131lan enerjinin bir formudur. G\u00fcne\u015ften gelen \u0131\u015f\u0131k, radyo ve televizyon sinyalleri, X \u0131\u015f\u0131nlar\u0131 ve cep telefonlar\u0131ndan yay\u0131lan sinyaller elektromanyetik radyasyona \u00f6rnektir. Personel, radyasyonun potansiyel riskleri konusunda bilgi sahibi olmal\u0131 ve g\u00fcvenli \u00e7al\u0131\u015fma prosed\u00fcrlerini mutlaka uygulamal\u0131d\u0131r.
