Ege \u00dcniversitesi (E\u00dc) Fen Fak\u00fcltesi Biyoloji B\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fc Temel ve End\u00fcstriyel Mikrobiyoloji Anabilim Dal\u0131 \u00f6\u011fretim \u00fcyesi Prof. Dr. Prof. Dr. \u00d6zlem Abac\u0131 G\u00fcnyar ve ekibinin \u201cEge \u00dcniversitesi, T\u0131bbi Mikrobiyoloji Laboratuvar\u0131na Gelen Klinik \u00d6rneklerden \u0130zole Edilen K\u00fcf Mantarlar\u0131nda H\u00fccre \u0130\u00e7i Bakterilerin Varl\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131n Ara\u015ft\u0131r\u0131lmas\u0131\u201d ba\u015fl\u0131kl\u0131 projesi T\u00dcB\u0130TAK taraf\u0131ndan desteklenmeye uygun bulundu.\u00a0<\/b>Prof. Dr. Abac\u0131 G\u00fcnyar ve ekibi\u00a0<\/b>mantarlar\u0131n i\u00e7inde yer alan bakterilere y\u00f6nelik \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar ger\u00e7ekle\u015ftirecek.<\/p>\n

Proje ekibini makam\u0131nda a\u011f\u0131rlayarak tebrik eden E\u00dc Rekt\u00f6r\u00fc Prof. Dr. Necdet Budak, \u201cFen Fak\u00fcltemiz \u00f6\u011fretim \u00fcyesi Prof. Dr. \u00d6zlem Abac\u0131 G\u00fcnyar ve ekibinin T\u00dcB\u0130TAK taraf\u0131ndan desteklenen projesi ile bilime sunduklar\u0131 katk\u0131lardan dolay\u0131\u00a0\u00a0 tebrik ediyor, \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131nda ba\u015far\u0131lar diliyorum\u201d dedi.<\/p>\n

Mantar enfeksiyonlar\u0131n\u0131n ba\u011f\u0131\u015f\u0131kl\u0131\u011f\u0131 d\u00fc\u015f\u00fck insanlarda \u00f6l\u00fcmle sonu\u00e7lanan ciddi hastal\u0131klara sebebiyet verdi\u011fine dikkat \u00e7eken Prof. Dr. Abac\u0131 G\u00fcnyar, \u201cEndofungal bakteriler, mantar miselyumu i\u00e7inde simbiyont olarak ya\u015fayan bakterilerdir. Mantar enfeksiyonlar\u0131 \u00f6zellikle immun bask\u0131l\u0131 bireylerde \u00f6l\u00fcmle sonu\u00e7lanan ciddi hastal\u0131klara neden olmaktad\u0131r.\u00a0 Bununla birlikte mantar miselyumu i\u00e7erisinde endosimbiyont olarak bulunan bakterilerin mantar miselyumundan sal\u0131n\u0131m\u0131 durumunda ciddi problemlere sebep olabilece\u011fi d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fclmektedir. Mantarlar\u0131n bar\u0131nd\u0131rd\u0131\u011f\u0131 bakterilerin hem \u00fcretebilecekleri toksinler y\u00f6n\u00fcnden hem de yeni bakteriyel bir enfeksiyona sebep olma potansiyelleri nedeni ile saptanmalar\u0131 \u00e7ok \u00f6nemlidir\u201d diye konu\u015ftu.<\/p>\n

\u201cEndofungal bakteriler ara\u015ft\u0131r\u0131lacak\u201d<\/b><\/p>\n

Prof. Dr. Abac\u0131 G\u00fcnyar, \u201c\u00c7al\u0131\u015fmam\u0131zda \u00fcniversitemizde mikoloji laboratuvarlar\u0131na gelen, sistemik enfeksiyon etkeni olarak izole edilen ve stoklanan mantar izolatlar\u0131nda endofungal bakteri varl\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131n ara\u015ft\u0131r\u0131lmas\u0131 ama\u00e7lad\u0131k. Endofungal bakterilere y\u00f6nelik ara\u015ft\u0131rmalar\u0131n k\u0131s\u0131tl\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131 ve rutin uygulamada klinik \u00f6rneklerde \u00fcreyen mantarlarda bu bakterilerin ara\u015ft\u0131r\u0131lmamas\u0131, tedavinin yaln\u0131zca antifungal olarak planlanmas\u0131na ve endofungal bakterilerin g\u00f6z ard\u0131 edilmesine neden olabiliyor. \u00c7al\u0131\u015fmam\u0131z\u0131n mantarlar ile birlikte ya\u015fayan endofungal bakterilere ilgiyi \u00e7ekerek, planlanacak tedaviye de yard\u0131mc\u0131 ve yol g\u00f6sterici olaca\u011f\u0131 d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fcyoruz\u201d dedi.<\/p>\n
