Y\u00fcr\u00fct\u00fcc\u00fcl\u00fc\u011f\u00fcn\u00fc E\u00dc Biyom\u00fchendislik B\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fc \u00f6\u011fretim \u00fcyesi Prof. Dr. Ay\u015fe Nalbantsoy\u2019un \u00fcstlendi\u011fi \u201c\u0130naktif Trivalan Grip A\u015f\u0131 Form\u00fclasyonunun Geli\u015ftirilmesi\u201d projesi T\u00dcB\u0130TAK \u201c1001-Bilimsel ve Teknolojik Ara\u015ft\u0131rma Projelerini Destekleme Program\u0131\u201d taraf\u0131ndan desteklenmeye uygun bulundu. Egeli akademisyenler proje kapsam\u0131nda grip a\u015f\u0131s\u0131na y\u00f6nelik \u00f6nemli \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar ger\u00e7ekle\u015ftirecek.<\/p>\n

Proje ekibini makam\u0131nda a\u011f\u0131rlayarak tebrik eden E\u00dc Rekt\u00f6r\u00fc Prof. Dr. Necdet Budak, \u201cAkademisyenlerimizin \u00f6zverili \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131 ile en \u00e7ok proje \u00fcreten ve projesi T\u00dcB\u0130TAK taraf\u0131ndan en \u00e7ok kabul edilen \u00fcniversiteler aras\u0131nda zirvede yer al\u0131yoruz. Olu\u015fturdu\u011fumuz bilimsel ekosistemle akademisyenlerimizin ba\u015far\u0131lar\u0131n\u0131n her ge\u00e7en g\u00fcn daha da artaca\u011f\u0131na inanc\u0131m tamd\u0131r. Bu noktada \u00f6\u011fretim \u00fcyemiz Prof. Dr. Ay\u015fe Nalbantsoy ve ekibini projelerinden dolay\u0131 tebrik ediyor, \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131nda ba\u015far\u0131lar diliyorum\u201d dedi.<\/p>\n

Projenin detaylar\u0131 hakk\u0131nda bilgi veren Prof. Dr. Nalbantsoy, \u201cProje kapsam\u0131nda klinik \u00f6rneklerden izole edilen grip vir\u00fcsleri ile haz\u0131rlanan prototip trivalan grip a\u015f\u0131 form\u00fclasyonu saponin i\u00e7eren adjuvan sistemi ile ba\u015far\u0131l\u0131 olarak geli\u015ftirildi. Grip a\u015f\u0131lar\u0131n\u0131n \u00f6nemini ve bu a\u015f\u0131lara duyulan ihtiyac\u0131 son d\u00f6nemde ya\u015fad\u0131\u011f\u0131m\u0131z mevsimsel grip enfeksiyonlar\u0131nda da g\u00f6rd\u00fck. Haz\u0131rlanan grip vir\u00fcslerinin daha g\u00fc\u00e7l\u00fc ba\u011f\u0131\u015f\u0131kl\u0131k yan\u0131t olu\u015fturmas\u0131nda \u00f6nemli role sahip olan adjuvan sistemlerinde kullan\u0131labilecek \u00fclkemiz endemik bitkilerinden Pelemir olarak bilinen \u2018Cephalaria spp\u2019dan izole edilmi\u015f imm\u00fcnomod\u00fclat\u00f6r molek\u00fcllerin kullan\u0131m potansiyelini ortaya koyduk. Projede kullan\u0131lan molek\u00fcllerin patent ba\u015fvurular\u0131 yap\u0131lm\u0131\u015f olup elde edilen sonu\u00e7lar \u0131\u015f\u0131\u011f\u0131nda molek\u00fcllerin farkl\u0131 hastal\u0131k etkenlerine kar\u015f\u0131 a\u015f\u0131larda kullan\u0131m\u0131na y\u00f6nelik projelerimiz devam edecektir. Yine projemiz kapsam\u0131nda bir doktora \u00f6\u011frencimizin tez \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmas\u0131 ve hayvan a\u015f\u0131 denemeleri tamamlanm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r\u201d dedi.<\/p>\n

\u00a0Grip vir\u00fcslerinin izolasyonu ve genom analizleri ile mutasyonlar\u0131n takibi \u0130zmir Biyot\u0131p ve Genom Merkezi\u2019nde Ara\u015ft\u0131rma Grup Lideri olan ve grip vir\u00fcsleri \u00fczerine uzmanl\u0131\u011f\u0131 bulunan Dr. \u00d6\u011fr. \u00dcyesi Zeynep A. Ko\u00e7er ve ekibi taraf\u0131ndan ger\u00e7ekle\u015ftirildi.<\/p>\n
