T\u00dcB\u0130TAK nezdinde en \u00e7ok proje yapan ve projeleri en \u00e7ok kabul g\u00f6ren \u00fcniversiteler aras\u0131nda zirvede yer alan Ege \u00dcniversitesinde, N\u00fckleer Bilimler Enstit\u00fcs\u00fc \u00f6\u011fretim \u00fcyesi Do\u00e7. Dr. Mutlu \u0130\u00e7hedef\u2019in \u201c\u0130zmir Fay\u0131n\u0131n Depremselli\u011finin Toprak Gaz\u0131 Anomalilerinden Yararlan\u0131larak De\u011ferlendirilmesi\u201d projesi, T\u00dcB\u0130TAK ARDEB-1001 Deprem Ara\u015ft\u0131rmalar\u0131 \u00e7a\u011fr\u0131s\u0131 kapsam\u0131nda desteklenmeye uygun bulundu.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Proje ekibini tebrik eden E\u00dc Rekt\u00f6r\u00fc Prof. Dr. Necdet Budak, \u201cBilindi\u011fi gibi \u00e7ok yak\u0131n bir zamanda \u0130zmir halk\u0131 olarak \u00fcz\u00fcc\u00fc bir deprem hadisesi ya\u015fad\u0131k. \u0130zmir, depremselli\u011fi y\u00fcksek bir b\u00f6lgede yer al\u0131yor. Bu sebeple bu alanda yap\u0131lacak her bir bilimsel \u00e7al\u0131\u015fma, hayati \u00f6nem ta\u015f\u0131yor. T\u00dcB\u0130TAK\u2019\u0131n da bu hassasiyetle a\u00e7t\u0131\u011f\u0131 Deprem Ara\u015ft\u0131rmalar\u0131 \u00e7a\u011fr\u0131s\u0131 kapsam\u0131nda \u00dcniversitemiz \u00f6\u011fretim \u00fcyesi Do\u00e7. Dr. Mutlu \u0130\u00e7hedef\u2019in \u2018\u0130zmir Fay\u0131n\u0131n Depremselli\u011finin Toprak Gaz\u0131 Anomalilerinden Yararlan\u0131larak De\u011ferlendirilmesi\u2019 projesi desteklenmeye uygun g\u00f6r\u00fcld\u00fc. Son y\u0131llarda T\u00dcB\u0130TAK nezdindeki ba\u015far\u0131lar\u0131m\u0131za yenilerini eklemeye devam ediyoruz. Projesi kabul g\u00f6ren hocalar\u0131m\u0131z\u0131 tebrik ediyor, ba\u015far\u0131lar\u0131n\u0131n devam\u0131n\u0131 diyorum\u201d diye konu\u015ftu.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>\u201c\u0130zmir fay\u0131nda \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar yap\u0131lacak\u201d<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Proje kapsam\u0131nda \u0130zmir fay\u0131 ile ilgili \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar yap\u0131laca\u011f\u0131n\u0131 s\u00f6yleyen E\u00dc N\u00fckleer Bilimler Enstit\u00fcs\u00fc M\u00fcd\u00fcr\u00fc Prof. Dr. Sabiye Yu\u015fan, \u201cDo\u00e7. Dr. Mutlu \u0130\u00e7hedef hocam\u0131z ve ekibi taraf\u0131ndan y\u00fcr\u00fct\u00fclen bu proje kapsam\u0131nda \u0130zmir kent merkezinden ge\u00e7en aktif bir fay olan \u0130zmir fay\u0131nda \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalara ba\u015flad\u0131lar. T\u00dcB\u0130TAK taraf\u0131ndan desteklenen bu projede, toprak gaz\u0131 anomalilerinin, fay zonuna ili\u015fkin yeni bilgilerin \u00fcretilmesinde kullan\u0131lmas\u0131 projenin orijinalli\u011fini olu\u015fturuyor. Do\u00e7. Dr. Mutlu \u0130\u00e7hedef, \u00e7al\u0131\u015fkanl\u0131\u011f\u0131 ve \u00fcretkenli\u011fiyle enstit\u00fcm\u00fcze, \u00fcniversitemize ve \u00fclkemize katk\u0131 sa\u011fl\u0131yor. Bu projeden elde edilen \u00e7\u0131kt\u0131lar\u0131n konferanslarda bildiri ve akademik makale olarak sunularak literat\u00fcre \u00f6nemli katk\u0131 sa\u011flayaca\u011f\u0131 d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcncesindeyim. Ayr\u0131ca ekibin ortak \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalara a\u00e7\u0131k olu\u015fu ve bilgi payla\u015fma konusundaki samimiyetleri b\u00f6lgedeki benzer \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalarda yer alan ara\u015ft\u0131rmac\u0131larla sinerji olu\u015fturman\u0131n yolunu a\u00e7acak. Ekibi tebrik ediyor, ba\u015far\u0131lar\u0131n\u0131n devam\u0131n\u0131 diliyorum\u201d dedi.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>\u201cFay ile ilgili bilgiler k\u0131s\u0131tl\u0131\u201d<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Proje y\u00fcr\u00fct\u00fcc\u00fcs\u00fc Do\u00e7. Dr. Mutlu \u0130\u00e7hedef, \u201cSisam Adas\u0131 kuzeyinde 30 Ekim 2020 tarihinde meydana gelen 6.9 b\u00fcy\u00fckl\u00fc\u011f\u00fcndeki deprem, \u0130zmir ve \u00e7evresinde b\u00fcy\u00fck hasar olu\u015fturdu. Ana \u015fokla birlikte Bayrakl\u0131 il\u00e7esinde 17 binan\u0131n y\u0131k\u0131lmas\u0131 sonucu 117 vatanda\u015f\u0131m\u0131z hayat\u0131n\u0131 kaybetti. Depremin en fazla hasara yol a\u00e7t\u0131\u011f\u0131 Bayrakl\u0131 il\u00e7esinin deprem merkez \u00fcss\u00fcne 70 km uzakl\u0131kta olmas\u0131, \u0130zmir kent merkezinden ge\u00e7en ya da daha yak\u0131n diri faylardan birinde meydana gelecek bir depremin olas\u0131 etkilerini akla getirdi. Yakla\u015f\u0131k 40 km uzunlu\u011fuyla \u0130zmir kent merkezinden ge\u00e7en en \u00f6nemli aktif faylardan biri de \u0130zmir fay\u0131d\u0131r. \u015eehirle\u015fmenin \u00e7ok yo\u011fun oldu\u011fu kent merkezinden ge\u00e7en \u0130zmir fay\u0131 ve \u00e7evresinde, fay hakk\u0131nda bilgi sa\u011flayacak k\u0131s\u0131tl\u0131 say\u0131da saha \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmas\u0131 yap\u0131labilmi\u015ftir. Bu nedenle faya ve fay\u0131n depremselli\u011fine dair yeni bilgilerin \u00fcretilmesine ihtiya\u00e7 duyulmaktad\u0131r. A\u015f\u0131r\u0131 kentle\u015fmenin engel oldu\u011fu saha \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131n\u0131n alternatif y\u00f6ntemlerle yap\u0131lmas\u0131 b\u00fcy\u00fck \u00f6nem arz ediyor. Toprak gaz\u0131 \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fcmleri, k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck bir toprak par\u00e7as\u0131 \u00fczerinde \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmay\u0131 m\u00fcmk\u00fcn k\u0131lmas\u0131 sebebiyle saha \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131 engelini ortadan kald\u0131rmaktad\u0131r\u201d dedi.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>\u201c\u0130zmir Fay\u0131na depremselli\u011fine ili\u015fkin yeni bilgilerin \u00fcretilmesi ama\u00e7lan\u0131yor\u201d<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Toprak gaz\u0131 \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fcmlerinin, a\u015f\u0131r\u0131 \u015fehirle\u015fmenin oldu\u011fu metropollerde yer alt\u0131ndan sal\u0131nan gazlar vas\u0131tas\u0131yla do\u011fal s\u00fcre\u00e7ler hakk\u0131nda bilgi sa\u011flad\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 s\u00f6yleyen Do\u00e7. Dr. \u0130\u00e7hedef, \u201cFay hatlar\u0131 ve fay zonlar\u0131 g\u00f6reli olarak y\u00fcksek ge\u00e7irgenlik de\u011ferlerine sahip olduklar\u0131ndan karasal olarak \u00fcretilen gazlar\u0131 atmosfere kolayca \u00e7\u0131karabilirler. Gazlar\u0131n g\u00f6\u00e7\u00fc, fay k\u0131r\u0131klar\u0131nda belirgin olmakla beraber yer kabu\u011fu hareketlerinden olduk\u00e7a fazla etkilenmekte. Bu sebeple toprak gaz\u0131ndaki bu gazlar, g\u00f6m\u00fcl\u00fc ve tan\u0131mlanmam\u0131\u015f faylar\u0131n tespit edilmesi ve depremlerin \u00f6n kestirimi gibi bir\u00e7ok bilginin \u00fcretilmesinde kullan\u0131labilmekte. Bu izleyiciler aras\u0131nda radon, gerek bir soygaz olmas\u0131 gerekse de uranyum bozunum serisinin bir \u00fcr\u00fcn\u00fc olarak yer kabu\u011funda s\u00fcrekli \u00fcretilip atmosfere g\u00f6\u00e7 etmesi sebebiyle \u00f6ne \u00e7\u0131kmakta. Soygaz oldu\u011fu i\u00e7in kimyasal bile\u015fik olu\u015fturmayan radonun toprak gaz\u0131ndaki konsantrasyonlar\u0131, yer kabu\u011fu hareketleri gibi fiziksel de\u011fi\u015fimlerden etkilenmekte. Radonun \u00e7ok uzun mesafelere g\u00f6\u00e7\u00fc ise karbondioksit gibi ta\u015f\u0131y\u0131c\u0131 gazlarla olmakta. Bu sebeple Radon ve Karbondioksit, faylanma ve depremsellik gibi jeodinamik s\u00fcre\u00e7lerin anla\u015f\u0131lmas\u0131 i\u00e7in birlikte kullan\u0131lmakta\u201d dedi.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Do\u00e7. Dr. \u0130\u00e7hedef, \u201cProje kapsam\u0131nda toprak gaz\u0131 \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fcmleri, diri fay olarak kabul edilen \u0130zmir fay\u0131nda fay boyunca ve fay\u0131n iki segmenti aras\u0131nda (Bal\u00e7ova-Narl\u0131dere ve P\u0131narba\u015f\u0131 segmentleri) depremsellik a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131ndan farkl\u0131l\u0131klar\u0131 belirlemede kullan\u0131lacak. Uygulanacak y\u00f6ntem (toprak havas\u0131ndaki gazlar\u0131n konsantrasyonlar\u0131n\u0131n yerinde \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fcmlerle belirlenmesi) bilinen, g\u00fcvenilir ve yayg\u0131n olarak kullan\u0131lan bir y\u00f6ntemdir. Projede ise g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fcze kadar kullan\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131ndan farkl\u0131 bir hedefe ula\u015fmak amac\u0131yla kullan\u0131lacak\u201d diyerek s\u00f6zlerini noktalad\u0131.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0Do\u00e7.
