E\u00dc Fen Fak\u00fcltesi Astronomi ve Uzay Bilimleri B\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fc \u00f6\u011fretim \u00fcyesi Do\u00e7. Dr. Orkun \u00d6zdarcan&#8217;\u0131n y\u00fcr\u00fct\u00fcc\u00fcl\u00fc\u011f\u00fcn\u00fc yapt\u0131\u011f\u0131 &#8220;Se\u00e7ilmi\u015f K\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck K\u00fctleli Kepler \u00d6rten \u00c7ift Y\u0131ld\u0131zlar\u0131nda K\u00fctle &#8211; Yar\u0131\u00e7ap Uyumsuzlu\u011fu ve Kromosferik Aktivite ile \u0130li\u015fkisinin \u0130ncelenmesi&#8221; ba\u015fl\u0131kl\u0131 proje, T\u00dcB\u0130TAK \u201c1002-A H\u0131zl\u0131 Destek Mod\u00fcl\u00fc Program\u0131\u201d kapsam\u0131nda desteklenmeye uygun bulundu.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ba\u015far\u0131l\u0131 akademisyen Do\u00e7. Dr. Orkun \u00d6zdarcan&#8217;\u0131 tebrik eden Ege \u00dcniversitesi Rekt\u00f6r\u00fc Prof. Dr. Necdet Budak, \u201c\u00dcniversitemizde olu\u015fturdu\u011fumuz bilim ve ara\u015ft\u0131rma ekosisteminin olumlu yans\u0131malar\u0131n\u0131 almay\u0131 s\u00fcrd\u00fcr\u00fcyoruz. K\u0131ymetli akademisyenlerimizin \u00fcretti\u011fi projelerle, hem ulusal hem de uluslararas\u0131 arenada ad\u0131m\u0131z\u0131 duyurmaya devam ediyoruz. \u00d6zellikle ara\u015ft\u0131rma projelerimizle T\u00dcB\u0130TAK nezdindeki ba\u015far\u0131m\u0131z\u0131 her ge\u00e7en g\u00fcn katlayarak art\u0131r\u0131yoruz. Ege \u00dcniversitesi olarak, en \u00e7ok proje \u00fcreten ve projesi T\u00dcB\u0130TAK taraf\u0131ndan en \u00e7ok kabul edilen \u00fcniversiteler aras\u0131nda zirvede yer al\u0131yoruz. Fen Fak\u00fcltesi Astronomi ve Uzay Bilimleri B\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fc \u00f6\u011fretim \u00fcyemiz Do\u00e7. Dr. Orkun \u00d6zdarcan&#8217;\u0131n projesi T\u00dcB\u0130TAK \u20181002-A H\u0131zl\u0131 Destek Mod\u00fcl\u00fc Program\u0131\u2019 kapsam\u0131nda desteklenmeye hak kazand\u0131. Do\u00e7. Dr. Orkun \u00d6zdarcan, \u201cBizler, G\u00fcne\u015ften k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck olan y\u0131ld\u0131zlar\u0131 inceliyoruz. Y\u0131ld\u0131zlar\u0131 g\u00f6zlemleyebiliyor, boyutlar\u0131n\u0131 ve i\u00e7erdikleri maddeleri \u00f6l\u00e7ebiliyoruz. Ancak bunlar\u0131 kuramsal modellerle de kar\u015f\u0131la\u015ft\u0131rmam\u0131z gerekiyor. Problemlerde, referans y\u0131ld\u0131z\u0131m\u0131z G\u00fcne\u015f\u2019in kuramsal modelleri g\u00f6z \u00f6n\u00fcne al\u0131yor ve bu modeller di\u011fer y\u0131ld\u0131zlara da uyguluyoruz. Ancak, G\u00fcne\u015f\u2019e g\u00f6re daha k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck y\u0131ld\u0131zlardan olu\u015fan baz\u0131 y\u0131ld\u0131z sistemlerinde, y\u0131ld\u0131zlar\u0131n boyutlar\u0131n\u0131n, G\u00fcne\u015f\u2019in rehber olarak al\u0131nd\u0131\u011f\u0131 modellerin \u00f6ng\u00f6rd\u00fc\u011f\u00fcnden daha b\u00fcy\u00fck oldu\u011fu ortaya \u00e7\u0131k\u0131yor. \u00d6rne\u011fin, modelde \u2018G\u00fcne\u015fin yar\u0131 boyutuna sahiptir\u2019 \u00f6ng\u00f6r\u00fcs\u00fc yap\u0131l\u0131rken, asl\u0131nda yar\u0131s\u0131ndan daha b\u00fcy\u00fck bir boyutta oldu\u011funu g\u00f6r\u00fcyoruz. Bu farkl\u0131l\u0131k, \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fcm hata s\u0131n\u0131rlar\u0131m\u0131z\u0131n \u00fczerine \u00e7\u0131kt\u0131\u011f\u0131ndan, bilimsel olarak ara\u015ft\u0131r\u0131lmas\u0131 gereken rahats\u0131z edici bir fark oluyor. Bu problem \u00fczerine yap\u0131lan ara\u015ft\u0131rmalar uzun zamand\u0131r devam etmesine ra\u011fmen kesin bir \u00e7\u00f6z\u00fcme ula\u015fmad\u0131. G\u00f6zlenen farkl\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131n kuramsal modellerden mi, yoksa g\u00f6zlemlerden mi kaynakland\u0131\u011f\u0131 hala tart\u0131\u015f\u0131l\u0131yor\u201d dedi.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Y\u0131ld\u0131zlar\u0131 boyutland\u0131r\u0131rken meydana gelen hatalar\u0131n nedenlerini a\u00e7\u0131klayan Do\u00e7. Dr. Orkun \u00d6zdarcan, \u201cEn olas\u0131 etki olarak \u00f6ne s\u00fcr\u00fclen fikir, G\u00fcne\u015f lekeleri kavram\u0131 oluyor. Bazen G\u00fcne\u015fin \u00fczerinde manyetik alan\u0131n \u00e7ok yo\u011funla\u015ft\u0131\u011f\u0131 karanl\u0131k b\u00f6lgeler ortaya \u00e7\u0131k\u0131yor ve bu b\u00f6lgelerde zaman zaman &#8216;G\u00fcne\u015f Patlamalar\u0131&#8217; oluyor. Bu lekeler ve patlamalar\u0131n G\u00fcne\u015f gibi y\u0131ld\u0131zlarda \u00e7ok yayg\u0131n olarak g\u00f6r\u00fcld\u00fc\u011f\u00fcn\u00fc biliyoruz. Yani G\u00fcne\u015f ile ayn\u0131 \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fclere sahip olan ya da biraz daha k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck olan y\u0131ld\u0131zlarda manyetik olarak patlamalar g\u00f6zleniyor ve bizler de y\u00fczeylerinde lekelerle birlikte rahatl\u0131kla analiz edebiliyoruz. Nihayetinde manyetik olarak ortaya \u00e7\u0131kan lekeler, patlamamalar ve bunlar\u0131 olu\u015fturan fiziksel s\u00fcre\u00e7ler bir \u015fekilde y\u0131ld\u0131z\u0131n boyutunu mu b\u00fcy\u00fct\u00fcyor diye d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnd\u00fcr\u00fcyor. Ancak bu d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnce hen\u00fcz do\u011frulanamad\u0131. \u00c7\u00fcnk\u00fc bu boyut b\u00fcy\u00fcmesini baz\u0131 y\u0131ld\u0131zlar g\u00f6sterirken, baz\u0131lar\u0131 ise g\u00f6stermiyor ve tam olarak hesaplamalar\u0131n \u00f6ng\u00f6rd\u00fc\u011f\u00fc gibi \u00e7\u0131k\u0131yor. Biz, projemizde bu kapsamda alt\u0131 tane y\u0131ld\u0131z se\u00e7tik. Bu konuda ulusal ve uluslararas\u0131 alanda \u00e7al\u0131\u015fan herkes g\u00fcne\u015f benzeri y\u0131ld\u0131zlar\u0131 g\u00f6zlemleyerek bir veri taban\u0131 olu\u015fturuyor ama \u015fu an eksikler mevcut. \u00c7\u00fcnk\u00fc, k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck y\u0131ld\u0131zlar s\u00f6n\u00fck oldu\u011fundan onlar\u0131 g\u00f6zlemleyerek teleskopla \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fcmlerini yapmak, G\u00fcne\u015f ve G\u00fcne\u015ften daha b\u00fcy\u00fck olanlar\u0131 g\u00f6zlemlemekten \u00e7ok daha zor. G\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fczde uydu verileri yayg\u0131n olarak kullan\u0131ld\u0131klar\u0131 i\u00e7in bu k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck k\u00fctleli y\u0131ld\u0131zlar\u0131 da art\u0131k g\u00f6rebiliyor ve \u00e7ok hassas bir \u015fekilde \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fcmlerini yapabiliyoruz\u201d diye konu\u015ftu.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>\u201cY\u0131ld\u0131zlar\u0131n yar\u0131\u00e7aplar\u0131n\u0131n farkl\u0131 olup olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 analiz etmeye \u00e7al\u0131\u015faca\u011f\u0131z\u201d<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Do\u00e7. Dr. \u00d6zdarcan, \u201c\u00d6l\u00e7\u00fcmlerimizi uydu verilerinden de faydalanarak yapaca\u011f\u0131z. Bu y\u00f6ntemle manyetik leke ve patlama g\u00f6steren y\u0131ld\u0131zlar\u0131n yar\u0131\u00e7aplar\u0131n\u0131n ger\u00e7ekten farkl\u0131 olup olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 analiz etmeye \u00e7al\u0131\u015faca\u011f\u0131z. Projemizde yapaca\u011f\u0131m\u0131z analizlerde bu fark ortaya \u00e7\u0131karsa, problemin kayna\u011f\u0131n\u0131n belirlenmesi i\u00e7in umut verici bir ipucu elde edilmi\u015f olacak. Bundan sonra gelecek ad\u0131m, literat\u00fcrde analizleri bulunan di\u011fer y\u0131ld\u0131zlar\u0131n da projemizde uygulad\u0131\u011f\u0131m\u0131z y\u00f6ntemle incelenmesi olacak. Bu kar\u015f\u0131la\u015ft\u0131rmalar sonunda manyetik leke ve patlamalar g\u00f6steren y\u0131ld\u0131zlar\u0131n g\u00f6zlenen boyutlar\u0131n\u0131n kurumsal modellerin \u00f6ng\u00f6rd\u00fcklerine g\u00f6re daha b\u00fcy\u00fck olup olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131 konusu da a\u00e7\u0131kl\u0131\u011fa kavu\u015facak. E\u011fer g\u00f6zlenen farkl\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131n manyetik leke ve patlamalarla ili\u015fkili olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131 ortaya \u00e7\u0131karsa, problemin ba\u015fka bir \u00e7\u00f6z\u00fcm\u00fcn\u00fc bulmak amac\u0131yla kuramsal olarak bir \u00e7\u00f6z\u00fcm \u00f6nermeye \u00e7al\u0131\u015faca\u011f\u0131z. G\u00fcne\u015f en iyi bildi\u011fimizi d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnd\u00fc\u011f\u00fcm\u00fcz y\u0131ld\u0131z. Ondan yola \u00e7\u0131karak, di\u011fer y\u0131ld\u0131zlar\u0131 anlamaya \u00e7al\u0131\u015f\u0131yoruz. Ancak G\u00fcne\u015f\u2019i de ne kadar iyi tan\u0131d\u0131\u011f\u0131m\u0131z\u0131 ve bildi\u011fimizi sorgulamam\u0131z gerekiyor. Bakt\u0131\u011f\u0131m\u0131zda boyutu, i\u00e7erdi\u011fi madde miktar\u0131 ve uzaya yayd\u0131\u011f\u0131 enerji gibi bilgileri \u00e7ok hassas olarak biliyoruz ama ne yaz\u0131k ki i\u00e7 i\u015fleyi\u015fini do\u011frudan g\u00f6remedi\u011fimiz i\u00e7in tam olarak bilmiyoruz. \u00d6rne\u011fin G\u00fcne\u015f\u2019in i\u00e7 b\u00f6lgelerindeki s\u0131cakl\u0131\u011f\u0131 \u00f6l\u00e7mek i\u00e7in o b\u00f6lgelere termometre bat\u0131r\u0131p \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fcm yapma \u015fans\u0131m\u0131z olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131ndan, i\u00e7 b\u00f6lgelerin s\u0131cakl\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 fizik yasalar\u0131na dayal\u0131 y\u00f6ntemler kullanarak tahmin ediyoruz.
